Wound Care Services

Port Macquarie Wound Care Clinic’s innovative and highly regarded Wound Care Program provides community members with expert and evidence-based care. Our Wound Team, comprised of highly trained and experienced Clinical Nurse Specialists, Registered Nurses and Enrolled Nurses, will provide a comprehensive assessment and treatment programme for a wide range of acute and chronic wounds, as well as manage conditions such as infection.

We also provide extensive education packages from 1 on 1, group education sessions, facility support, Telehealth review and conference presentation services.

Vascular Services

Our specialist nurses provide comprehensive vascular reviews with Ankle Brachial Pressure Index and Toe Brachial Pressure Index assessments. These can be attended within our clinics or within your own home. Once completed a comprehensive report will be completed and sent to your preferred General Practitioner and Vascular specialists.

Lymphoedema Services

Our team of lymphoedema practitioners are accredited with the Australasian Lymphology Association. We provide extensive lymphoedema assessments, garment prescribing and fitting as well as lymphoedema massage and manual lymphatic drainage (MLD). Our team can provide these services within our clinics or within the comfort of your own home.

Continence Services

Our team consists of continence specialist nurses who can provide all aspects of continence care. We have capacity for catheter changes and flushes for both indwelling (IDC) and supra-pubic catheters (SPC) for both male and female patients. Our team are also trained to conduct and report for NDIA, DVA Nursing, Aged Care continence assessments. We are able to source all consumables, and have the ability to provide trial products for patient comfort and decision making.

Photobiomodulation Therapy (Blue Light Wound Therapy)

Photobiomodulation with EmoLED is a new frontier for wound management, made increasingly attractive as a treatment modality that is easy to use, quickly applied, non-invasive and painless. The PBM process results in beneficial therapeutic outcomes including but not limited to, the alleviation of pain or inflammation, immunomodulation and promotion of wound healing and tissue regeneration.

Vaccination Services

We are an Australian Government approved vaccination clinic. We are able to provide vaccinations via our on-site clinic or our mobile community-based services.
